Located in Northern Tanzania in Africa, Kilimanjaro can be seen from miles away as this magnificent glacier capped volcano rises from the plains to an altitude of 5895 metres (19,340ft). Kilimnajaro is the highest point in Africa but climbing Kilimanjaro is a relatively straightforward undertaking for a person with good physical fitness.

We ascend by trekking on the unspoilt, remote Lemosho Route taking 7 days to climb for safer acclimatization and therefore a better chance at success. Our expedition is a deluxe fully outfitted expedition including porters, all camping equipment, fresh meals, private transport and more.
After the challenge of our Kilimanjaro trek we spend a night in Arusha to enjoy a shower and fresh sheets. The next morning we're off on our 3-day Private Safari to view the most spectacular wildlife and scenery in the world. During the safari we have the opportunity to view Lions, Black Rhinos, Zebras, Girrafes, Elephants, Hippos and much more. As we are on a private Safari with our own transportation and locally educated guide we are in control of our itinerary. In the evening we are treated with deluxe meals in our luxury safari lodges.
Day 1: Arrive in Arusha via international flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport. Meet and greet at airport. Overnight at Impala Hotel with pre-climb briefing and welcome dinner.
Day 2: Rest day in Arusha to get over jet lag.
Day 3: Private transport from Arusha to Londorossi Park Gate (2250m, 2 hours). From here a forest track requiring a 4WD vehicle leads to Lemosho Glades (2100m, 11km, 45 minutes). Walk along forest trails to Mti Mkubwa (big tree) campsite, (2750m, 3 hours).
Day 4 - 7: The trail gradually steepens and enters the giant heather moor land zone. Several streams are crossed then it gains the Shira Ridge at about 3600m and drops gently down to Shira 1 camp located by a stream on the Shira Plateau. A gentle walk across the plateau leads to Shira camp 2 on moor land meadows by a stream at 3850m. The moor lands soon come to an end and the rocky path leads amongst outcrops to the Lava Tower (4600m) and down to Baranco Camp 3 at 3800m. On this day you have an exciting start as you approach our high camp; Barafu Camp 4800m. where we stage your summit attempt
Day 8: Summit Day! You’ll start very early in the morning (approx. midnight) so you can enjoy the sunrise from the roof of Africa. You’ll then descend back to high camp for a nice needed rest. After a couple of hours sleep and some lunch you’ll continue down to Mweka camp. This is a long day. (approx. 12 – 14 hours walking).
Day 9: A 3-4 hour descent through beautiful forest brings you to the Park gate and your waiting transport. Drive back to the hotel and have a celebration dinner
Day 10: Checkout of the Hotel after breakfast. Drive to Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive. Tarangire is famous for viewing elephants, giraffes and hippos. This evening we spend a wonderful night in a Tarangire Lodge.
Day 11: Drive to the World Famous Ngorongoro Crater National Park and experience the largest concentration of wildlife on the planet. Highlights of the wildlife are cheetahs, lions and the rare black rhino. Your stay this evening is in the very luxurious Ngorongoro Farm House.
Day 12: Start with an early morning game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater and then head back to Arusha. Tonight we celebrate our trip with a fantastic wind-up meal in the Impala Hotel.
Day 13: Transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport.
