Easy - These programs are suitable for almost anyone. Only a small level of fitness is required to participate. An example of an easy program would be a half day of hiking on easy terrain with not much elevation gain.
Intermeditate - With these programs experience is not always necessary but you will want to have a little higher level of fitness than on an easy program. Generally the participant will only carry a day-pack. An example of an intermediate program would be a full day of hiking on easy to moderate terrain and could involve a couple hundred metres of elevation gain.
Challenging Our difficult programs require a good level of fitness and usually some experience is preferred. Participants could hike for many hours and gain several hundred metres of elevation or carry large packs. An example of a difficult program would be our Cory/Edith Pass hike.
Very Challenging These programs are for people with experience and would like to push their limits a bit. With our challenging programs participants need a high level of fitness and will carry large loads for days at a time or be trekking to above 4000 metres.
